Tabatha Gayle

Tabatha Gayle grew up in a Jamaican/Asian household in Hamden, CT. Her theatrical debut was in a groundbreaking musical about prohibition...in middle school. Her favorite credits during her time with Connecticut Repertory Theatre have been The Importance of Being Earnest (Gwendolen Fairfax), Shrek the Musical (Humpty Dumpty/Three Blind Mice Soloist), Our Country’s Good (Mary Brenham), Spamalot (Laker Girl/ Dancer) and a staged reading of Venus (The Negro Resurrectionist).  She is passionate about being involved with socio-political theater that seeks to change societal perception and empathy. She is currently devising a play about the relationship between black women and men, called Misogynoir. In her free time, Tabatha enjoys singing, learning new choreography, reading greek mythology, watching hours of Button Poetry, and writing.
